Mofy AI Ltd studies how language models are actually used, and what has to change for that use to be private, affordable and safe. Six programmes, one question underneath all of them: what does an AI system have to know, remember and cost before an ordinary household can rely on it?
Most published AI research measures how well a model performs on a benchmark. Very little of it measures what happens after the model is deployed — when it has to call twenty tools, remember a person for a year, run on a device with no network, stay inside a household budget, and notice when the person on the other end is not okay.
That gap is our research area. We work on the systems around the model rather than the model itself, because that is where the remaining problems are.
All of it is built for the eighty per cent locked out of the AI revolution — the people who cannot configure anything, cannot afford a retainer, and were never the customer any of this was designed for.
Mofy is not a paper mill. Every programme is tested in a production system: our sister company Bonz-Ai Limited builds the applied work, and Ask Zai is the product that carries it to real users. A result that cannot survive contact with a live user is not a result.
Research-generated intellectual property is held by Mofy AI Ltd and licensed within the group. Two UK patent applications have been filed and are pending, including the Emotional Watcher system for chunk-level emotional and manipulation detection.
We license our research and take a small number of collaborations. Email founder@mofy.ai.
